Alcohol Ink

Alcohol inks are a fluid medium. What makes alcohol inks so special is that they are hard to control. Manipulating the paint takes practice and technique, but once you have adopted the right approach toward this medium it can be one of the most fun and addictive styles of painting!
Alcohol inks are highly-saturated, dye based inks activated by isopropyl alcohol . They are fast drying, but can be reactivated by alcohol once dry. The pigments are vibrant, acid free and extremely versatile. Alcohol inks work well on non-porous surfaces like synthetic (yupo) paper, ceramics, metal, glass, plastic etc.
